Scissors:
I have purchased the Rachael Ray scissors. They are horrible. I was very disappointed in these kitchen shears. I own the Rachael Ray Furi knives and I love them, although the orange color is certainly not a favorite of mine as I have red apples, but the knives are wonderful and make up for the ugly color. I did not even hesitate to buy the scissors as I assumed they were as wonderful as the knives. I was wrong and would never recommend these scissors to anyone. They do not even deserve 1 star. I would NOT attach my name to these cheap scissors and I'm surprised that Rachael Ray has done so. These scissors were $10 and they are worth nothing.......they should be given away or better yet, thrown away.

Big Star Name Little Product Quality:
I have to say first that I am not typically a big fan of celebrity-endorsed products. They tend to over promise and under-deliver and serve only to highlight exactly what happens when cheap Chinese products meet slick endorsement deals. This product is no different. I paid about $10 for these and was drawn to a feature that I find to be invaluable when it comes to kitchen shears: the ability to come apart so you can put them in the dishwasher and really get them clean. This is one feature that the product delivers. They do come apart quite nicely. That being said, I can say that there really is only one flaw. The scissors don't cut. When I say they don't cut I am not complaining because I tried to cut apart a frozen steak or rip apart a can. I mean they won't cut anything! Plastic bags, flower stems, pizza...just about anything you would actually want to cut with kitchen scissors. I have but two words to pass on with respect to the Rachel Ray Kitchen Shears...STAY AWAY. You would have better luck using a rusty hacksaw or your hands.
