I am so happy with this cabinet. Not only does it look beautiful but I love how it closes into a compact unit that looks like a decorative piece of furniture. When closed no one would know this is a sewing cabinet. It fits so well in my very small craft room. When we first went to assemble the unit it looked complicated but once we dove in we found the instructions to be very well written and easy to assemble. I highly recommend this product.
Great cabinet!:
I love this cabinet! It's a space saver and looks great. It arrived in two extremely heavy boxes, and took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. (Think IKEA furniture assembly, not hard, just lots of pieces. They were all well labeled). The lift mechanism is working great, it has 3 levels. My Brother machine fits in it great. It just sits on top of the shelf, no need to screw it in place. The cabinet has a solid feel to it. There were a few rub marks/scuffs on the edges of the top piece from packaging, but rather than call for a new one (which probably would come the same way), I just use a Sharpie and filled it in, looks fine. The front louvers are solid, there are no gaps, which is a little different than I expected. But will make it easier to clean I think than something like closet doors. You can't tell from the picture, but when its closed, it just looks like a small black cabinet with a closed door, with a pretty silver knob (the top is black when closed). Overall, I would highly recommend it! ETA: I saw this in real life in the woodgrain finish and I would NOT recommend that color. It looks like very fake wood and not pretty at all. The black is the way to go!
