Recommended, but.....:
As the other reviewers have stated, this toy is very, very powerful and fast. It truely shames any other rc battery types. All the spoiler and other such attachments quickly broke off. The antenna sleeve was lost fairly quickly and with out a sleeve, the antenna got wrapped around a tire. I had to cut the antenna, which now limits how far the car can be from you. No real battery problems here. However, my 5 y/o son did crash it repeatedly, and it did result in some serious problems. The right rear tire froze up. I had to dismantle it and found a small pin somehow got lodged in a gear. Once I removed it, all was good. Fun toy, worth the money.

fun and enjoyable!:
This vehicle is powerful and really fun to see on the snow! I'm sure it will work just as well on land (once our snow melts!) Very well priced on Amazon (compared to Toys R Us, etc) as well.

Nephew loved it!:
I sent this as a present and I never saw it personally. But my nephew loved it. he said it was surprisingly fast and a ton of fun!

Fun and fast but is not indoor toy:
I bought these for 7,9 year old boys for christmas and they have been great. The boys loved them in the snow and also in the summer so its a great all around toy. But not for in the house go's way to fast watch yoru feet. lol

Death on Wheels - not an inside toy:
This was for my son (4 1/2 yrs), he loves it. This however is not for inside your house, it is very, very fast and weighs a sizable amount. It will cause damage to things it impacts. Outdoor use - outstanding, as I said earlier, it is very fast - perfect for outdoors. It is water resistant/proof, we've had it out in the snow and sand and puddles, rinse off with a hose and it's fine. The battery life is ok, maybe 20 minutes on a charge. Issues, the antenna plastic whip kept coming off, I wrapped it around the roll bars. The roll bars were coming off right out of the box (normal it said in the book) - I Krazy-Glued them, no more problems. The battery, it claims is non-replaceable, we'll see when it needs to be replaced - I can fix just about anything - I'll ust need to locate the proper battery - but that shouldn't be for years.....
