Works great!:
I was disappointed to see such bad reviews for this product while looking to buy another of the same for a different house. Mine has worked great since I installed it to work a post light when the motion detector sees a car entering the driveway. The motion detector is 50 feet away from the switch and sends the signal through 3 walls to reach the switch and is as sensitive as I set it to be.

Stay away from Heath/Zenith wireless command products:
I spent the better part of a day trying to get a floodlight and two wireless motion sensors working reliably without success. Very erratic operation, usually culminating in the lights staying on continuously.

Not a reliable product:
I bought several products from this company and have used them for several years. The products are all barely functional at best. I bought several transmitters and receivers and have been extremely disappointed in the results. The motion sensor will frequently not turn the lights on or will leave them on even with only a few feet between the transmitter and receiver. Stay away from these products.

I love it:
I have been looking for something like this for many years! I had a really cheap light with a built in motion sensor at the front door and it was junk...but the motion sensor worked well. I wanted a really nice quality front door lantern, but none came with motion sensors. I talked to electricians many times about wiring a motion sensoir to my front door light but no one wanted to try it. Then I discovered this. It works wonderfully and I am delighted. The sensor is very near the light and the switch and that may make the difference, but I now have two and they have been working for several months without a hitch!

Good unique product; poor quality control:
The wireless light switch is a unique product not available locally. It's unfortunate that HZ appears to be lax in monitoring the quality of these imported products. I changed batteries, tested them, tried various configurations and had the transmitter next to the switch. Perhaps the transmitter battery was defective.
