I've happy with this purchase, but do want to mention that these hose guides are not black, as they appear, nor is the crystal blue. They're actually a darkish grey, and the crystal is clear plastic, embedded with flecks of that glow-in-the-dark stuff you see in kids' toys and such. I know this doesn't sound very flattering, but they are quite nice-looking--just not the pretty turquoise the picture shows. As a previous review mentioned, the glow effect is "very subtle but lovely." Something that also annoys me slightly is that the wrought iron "twist" is uneven, giving them the appearance of a missing iron bar. Not a big deal, but other compulsive folks might be forewarned. Overall, however, they are well-made and very nice looking. They also are very functional, and include a "sleeve" that rotates around the spike, making it easy to pull the hose past them.

Hose Guides:
Wonderful and magical looking both in the day and night. When the sun shines on them they look like crystals. At night the light is subtle but very nice. Extremely functional as hose guides keeping the hose from invading the beds. Larger in size and heavier than I thought. Good value.
