Adequate for small jobs:
I made a show with 200 slides with this product. It took an hour to produce the DVD, which played fine on my system, with music, only after I hooked up an analog audio line in addition to my digital optics cable. The interface is easy to use. You cannot specify timings or transitions for single slides, only whole shows. I'd recommend it for beginners who want to make shows of 50 or less slides, want a cheaper product, and aren't expecting to get much in the way of customer support.

easy to create, but can't burn to CD:
I purchased the Slideshow Expressions at Office Depot, mainly for the low price ($20) and because it seemed like it would be easy to use. It is very easy to use and create a slideshow, but that's as far as it goes. When I tried to burn to DVD, it crashed and erased all my work. It has some nice transitions, but you can't specify a particular transition for a particular slide - it changes every time you play the review. The special effects are limited to zoom and pan. The instructions are very vague and help files are non-existant. Customer support online is marginal at best. If you just want to create slideshows for yourself and watch them only on your computer in the "review" mode, this program is OK. But if you are looking to burn DVD's to share with friends or family, don't waste your time or money - look for a better program. I'm am going to upgrade to Poloroid My Memories Suite - it's three times the cost, but according to the reviews I have read, well worth the price.

i bought this product to show my trip to vietnam to my friends and family. its so easy to use and i don't have to waste time going to costtco all the time and manually get slides and use a projector thingy all the time i can save it on a CD and give it to all my friends. id recomend this to everyone

User friendly:
If you want user friendly software to make slideshows this is a great one. The only fault I have found with it, is Id like to choose which transitions to use, but it does it for you. But it makes beautiful slideshows with multiple chapters and you can add whatever music you have. You make your own titles etc also. Great for anyone that isn't so technically inclined.

Slide Show:
I lost my Mom two years ago and decided to order this product. A co-worker of mine has one but doesn't believe in sharing,so I ordered my own. During the holidays, I'll make a slide show of my Mom as a gift to my siblings. Great job!
