my B & D HedgeTrimmer:
Although I have not yet used my Trimmer (awaiting delivery of the cord which I ordered recently), I am pleased with the 'feel' of the unit - it is not heavy, it will be quite easy to manoeuvre - and Black & Decker is (for me) one of the top brands in Home and Garden tools/equipment (that's why I gave it such a high rating)!! I can't hardly wait to experience my Trimmer!

good quality:
fast shipping but after ordering I saw the same item at the local lowes for about 5 dollars cheaper, which really surprised me considering everything is usually cheaper at amazon.com

Hedge Trimmner:
I used the hedge trimmer the first time and it worked wonderfully well. I have a group of bushes that grow fast and produce large offshoots. The trimmer handled them handily, I am looking forward to many years of use. Chas

Great Product:
Very happy with the 17" B & D hedge trimmer. Did a little research and found it was highly recommended by Consumers Reports magazine. Had an older version for 15+ years, and it finally gave out. Don't consider a heavy machine unless you're a body builder! After many hours of trimming you'll be glad you chose this size. Longer blade and heavy weight don't help. I have been using this trimmer for about a month now and love it.

Good for small jobs:
I have a large hedge trimmer and needed something smaller and lighter for ease of manipulation and this B & D does the job. I would limit the diameter of cuts to 1/4" however.
