A friend of mine owns one of these. It's basically a nicely designed and organized notebook/journal to record lists of books read, books you'd like to read, books loaned, comments about, and quotes from, books you've read. If you've ever started a list of books you'd like to read and then forgotten where you put the list, this could be useful. I plan to order one of these.

A must for those who loan books to family and friends:
This is an excellent journal for book lovers that loan out books to family and friends. I tend to forget who has my books (and how long they have had them) so I really wanted a journal that would allow me to mark down that information. This journal has tabbed sections for Recommended Reads, Reading Notes (which includes a "Books Read" section), Favorite Quotes, and Books Borrowed and Lent. There are folders in each tabbed page for slips of paper or extra bookmarks that I am not currently using. My only complaint would be that the "Books Read" section needs to be much larger! There is only room for 140 books read.
