Got a new laptop/tablet device the other day and I needed to know how configure and find things in the Vista OS. This book is perfect. No supertech stuff, no beginners filler, yet I think it covers just about everything. Exactly what I needed.

Excellent book:
This is a great book for Vista users. My laptop's performance is greatly improved after using just a few of the suggestions. The book is written clearly and the stepwise instructions are easily followed and also make it easy to undo anything that does not work for you. Tweak Vista:
Great compilation of tweaks for Vista to improve performance and user friendliness. Saves having to look all over the net for these tips

Problems with order:
Ordered XP tips & tricks. Received Vista tips & tricks. When I called to complain I got a women who did not speak or understand what I was saying and I could not understand her. I became so frustrated that I just hug up.

A little more simple than expected.:
I know this book was advertised as a simple guide to the Tips and Tricks of Vista. Unfortunately, I misjudged. There is nothing wrong with the book, content-wise. I am not yet so farsighted that I had trouble reading the rather large font, it's that I expected some real "Ah-ha's", and "so that's how they do it".
