Rather poor arithmetic review:
I did not find this EZ Solutions Arithmetic review very helpful. The main reason is, that it is not very textbook/explanatory-like, but instead lists one definition after the other; this is not what I expect from a good math book (I found the math review in the barron's GMAT book a lot better). Also the first 14 pages are just "we bring you the breakthrough etc."-bla bla. But, after all, the book does give you some arithmetic review, so its not a total waste.

Helpful guide for GMAT:
I started my GMAT course and have looked over many books relating to Arithmetic and this book is by far the best book that I have read. The solutions and problems are well laid out. It's both an excellent book for a beginner and the intermediate of us. The collection of books is well worth the money when studying the GMAT.

Good book for GMAT math review!:
I've tried almost every book available for the GMAT, also spent a lot of money in taking courses/tutoring, but I have to admit that the EZ GMAT books were the most helpful. Like they say, "out of sight, out of mind," I have been out of school for a while and needed an extensive brush up on math concepts. I'd highly recommend getting EZ GMAT set of 10 books (manual, arithmetic, algebra, application, geometry, word problems, logic & stats, basic wb, advanced wb, and math strategies). If you have all these 10 books, you'll be equipped with all the tools for the GMAT math. These books are very detailed and comprehensive like no other book that I have tried. The test-taker's manual is a great source for learning how to prepare yourself for the test, the review books contain each and every math concept that you need to know, the practice workbooks contain questions very similar to what you'll see on the actual test, and the strategies book will tell you how to approach the math questions. In addition, of course, I'd recommend getting the OG for additional practice. Good luck in your GMAT prep!

EZ Solutions GMAT books are remarkable!:
The EZ Solutions GMAT review books are very strong in providing you with all types of math concepts and practice questions that you can expect to see on the real GMAT. The main target of these books is not only to show you all the different concepts but also tell you what you need to successfully solve all different types of questions. The EZ Solutions GMAT practice books are a must have in order to practice everything you've learned in the review books. The level of difficulty of problems is ranged from easy to medium in the basic workbook and from medium to difficult in the advanced workbook. The EZ GMAT Test Taker's Manual is a nice book to know how you should study for the GMAT prep and how best to exploit the computer-adaptive nature of the GMAT, which can be very beneficial. The EZ GMAT Math Strategies is a great book if you want to learn how to solve difficult math problem in multiple ways and it's a must have for data sufficiency section, as it explains and dissects it very beautifully, unlike any other book. Now, to compare EZ books with other books: In every other GMAT books, you'll only find a small chapter or section on Arithmetic or Algebra where you will find some very few concepts and questions. You will need to search for additional sources to learn all concepts and do enough practice questions. However, if you have the EZ GMAT books, you can be assured that you will have each and every concept that you need to know for the GMAT and many different types of problems on each and every concept. In this case, you won't have to look for any additional source because the EZ books are very comprehensive, and they will also help you discover your gaps in all types of math topics. Another major point is that unlike most other books where you'll find long boring paragraph type of explanations, the EZ GMAT books has everything in a step-by-step method without jumping and dropping any stage of explanation in solutions. This will also help you understand why and where you make mistakes and how to rectify them. Yes, it can be more pricy when you buy all 10 EZ GMAT books, but it's undoubtedly a good investment towards your GMAT prep. It would be unfair to compare the cost of EZ GMAT books with other books because there is really no comparison. But, yes, if you compare this with taking actual course by spending $1500, you are bound to get more juice from these books than an actual course, and that too at a fraction of the cost. In short, buy the EZ GMAT books if you are serious about getting a good score on the GMAT. If you are just looking for a more general/basic material give these books a pass and buy Barrons book as that's the best one out there among the other books. Good Luck!

EZ GMAT Math:
I highly recommend the EZ Solutions Math Series for anyone taking the GMAT. I bought them seeing the positive reviews elsewhere and they really lived up to the recommendations. Despite having a decent quantitative background, when it came to some of the questions on GMAT specifically those in the Probability & Stat area, I was struggling. I needed something that explained the basics and at the same time was capable of giving me sufficient knowledge/strategies to solve the problems found on the test. The EZ Solutions Math Series fit the bill perfectly. After going through the series, I have seen a marked improvement in my scores. I had earlier gone through both Kaplan and Barron's Math sections, but felt that they didn't give me the necessary confidence. For serious test takers, I would definitely suggest going through the EZ Math Series before attempting those on the Official Guide.
