Great Book, Keep your computer with you!:
The book's content is excellent! I have found it to be very useful for quickly getting up to speed on the topic. The book is sectioned into logical parts and does a great job providing reference material to allow anyone to become familiar with the GPS in a short period of time. I would however caution anyone atracted to the e-book version of this book. The PDF file is locked and cannot be printed, saved or otherwise converted to a "portable" format. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR COMPUTER WITH YOU TO READ THIS BOOK. Note, one cannot even use Adobe's "cripple" Palm reader to read this e-book. NO returns on e-book so buy the hardcover version.

Good intro for non-scientists:
Got this to supplement pilot training on GPS. Provides lots of information not found in "basic" GPS books without all of the techno-bable (well there is a little, but not too much).

GPS text book without any equation:
1- The first thing is that you can read the book from the beginning to the last page without any difficlties. 2- There is no equations in the book. Equations sometimes let books boring. 3- You can gain more information about GPS from this book. 4- Figures are very clear.

Wonderful reference for the GPS system:
This is one of the most useful GPS books I have. It's a wonderful reference for the entire GPS system. The information is presented simply without mathematical equations, yet the technical depth is sufficient to cover many details that engineers and professionals need to understand. The book also contains many useful references for those who require additional depth.

The strength is in the fundamentals:
This is an excellent book for up to an intermediary level. Good for those who look for a "warm start." And can easily serve as textbook for engineering courses. Well written. Worth to have around as a quick reference.
