Great Resource:
The Life Recovery Bible is one of my favorites because it's written in plain english. I also enjoy the summaries found at the bottom of each page because they are thought provoking. The recovery themes help to bring worries into proper perspective.
Great Bible Translation and 12-step Biblical Study:
This Bible is a translation by a collective group of biblical scholars of many denominations. It is a flowing, dynamic translation that remains true to the original language as exegeted to modern language. It is a great simplified version of the Bible in a very readable form that has tremendous 12-step insights related to the word of God. A great gift for a Christian in recovery to link his or her faith to the 12 steps.
Excellent Study and Resource Bible:
This Bible was purchased for a friend who shared with me recently how much he was enjoying his study in it. A family member received one of these Life Recovery Bibles for a Christmas gift and thoroughly enjoys it. The Bible is need specific and helps the reader understand the Bible with a fresh perspective. The Bible was received in excellent condition and in a very timely manner.
It is worth the cost:
I bought this for my daughter, see knew someone else that had one. It seems well suited for a person in recovery.
Great Bible:
Great Bible for people in Recovery. I was not aware that the NLT was a paraphrase though, although it is really easy to understand. All of the devotions and things inside are awesome. The study parts are really nice hoe they relate everything to Recovery. All in all it is a great Bible
