Linda Nelson Stocks - My Favorite Folk Artist:
I have been displaying Linda Nelson Stocks folk art calendars for the past 10-15 years now. She is my favorite folk artist! At first I was concerned when I noticed it was not published by Lang Co., as Lang Co. has always made a high quality calendar. But this new publisher also did a nice job at showing the artist's work. There is no border, as mentioned in a previous review, which is actually nice because this makes the paintings larger for all to see. I was also happy to see that the calendar was kept the same size as before. This will allow me to continue framing it in my special calendar frame. This calendar has always added a warm touch to my country kitchen. I highly recommend Linda Nelson Stocks Folk Art Wall Calendar for any lover of great folk art. PS: This edition also comes with an 8x10 ready-to-frame print!

FOLK ART 2007:
I HAVE BE COLLECTING LINDA NELSON STOCKS CALENDARS FOR YEARS. THIS IS A DIFFERENT CALENDAR FROM THE LANG CALENDARS BUT ALMOST EQUALLY AS NICE. THE PAPER IS A LITTLE LIGHTER BUT EACH YEAR THE LANG'S GET LIGHTER ALSO. THE PRINTS ARE EXCELLENT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE I SEE IS THEY ARE NOT FRAMED WITH A BOARDER AS IN THE PAST. A LINDA NELSON STOCK FAN WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Linda Nelson Stocks 2007 Folk Art Calendar:
For years the art of Linda Nelson Stocks could be found on the annual Lang Folk art wall calendar. For the 2007 release this was not the case, which caused quite a concern for her many fans. Not to worry, this year her usual warm, homespun paintings were published instead by Andrews McMeel. The calendar reflects just what you have come to expect from Ms. Stocks, a real treat for old and new fans alike. All is as it should be...included the same calendar dimensions.

2007 Folk Art Calendar:
When I discovered Lang was not going to feature the artwork of Linda Nelson Stocks on their 25th anniversary edition calendar, I was shocked. I have been buying these calendars for almost that long. I went to amazon.com and typed in Linda Nelson Stocks and found her 2007 calendar published by a different company. This calendar is wonderful. It has all of her fabuluos artwork, and the layout of the calendar has a very old fashined feel to it...something I like very much. I would be thrilled if this new publisher kept on producing her calendars for years to come. Thanks Amazon!!
