There are actually 3 "Word XP Essentials": beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Decided against the beginning CD because it only had all the "basic basics." I am most satisfied with the other two CDs. The teacher is articulate and easy to understand. Actual Word windows are displayed while she is discussing a particular subject. The lessons are short and when completed assignments are given to allow you to do the task yourself. Each disk has a basic table of contents that allows for easy navigation to the various lectures. I'm a WordPerfect expert in a Word world and bought the software because I was having so many problems getting Word to do what I wanted. This has definitely made it a lot easier.
